There are some cute new merchandise that I found at The Art of Disney Parks website. I find many new and intriguing things there but here are the ones I found the most interest in, a new Marie Osmond doll, Adora Haunted Mansion Bitty Belle Doll, one based on the attraction, The Haunted Mansion. The other one I found was the Mickey Monsters set. These little cuties/weirdos ”try to blend in by disguising themselves as Mickey and a host of other characters.”

“The 1^st Series of 6 Mickey Monster characters’ names are Murff, Cheeky Bubbles, Ogg, Keeti, Ralf, and Eeku.  They will each come with a special hang tag that contain stories about the character and therefore bring the character to life for our guests.  Each character will retail for $12.95.  ”

Interesting! Anyways, look around the website, there are many things you will find interest in, I guarantee it!

Today a Cast Member died in a Monorail Crash at Walt Disney World.  A WDW Monorail Driver was killed when two Monorail trains crashed this morning. Austin Wuennenberg, 21, was driving one of the monorails when the collision happened around 2 a.m. According to Click Orlando, Disney said it was the first fatal crash in the monorail’s 38-year history in the park. 

The operator of the other monorail was not injured. Eight other people were evaluated after the crash, but no other injuries were reported.  According to witnesses, a monorail was returning from Epcot when it slammed into the rear of the other train. The operator of the other monorail was not injured. Since this is mostly related to the other parks, I’m not really going to elaborate on these subjects.

• Hong Kong Disneylandis going to receive some major expansion, including a Toy Story land. This is will be an area with rides based on Toy Story that are over sized! There will also be a Mystic Point and Grizzly Trail area. Sounds like a lot of fun!
• Hall of Presidents is renewed at Walt Disney World, featuring a new President Obama audio-animatronic. He must not go to WDW often, because he asked if they were wax figures.
• The Pirates League, inside the new Black Pearl  Pirate Ship, dropped anchor on the 29th at yet again, WDW. This is bascially the Pirate version of the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique we have at Disneyland.
