Some things that have been happening in the world of Disney:
Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln has now opened on Main Street U.S.A.
Construction in Paradise Pier is going nicely
Roy Disney, Walt Disney’s nephew, and Roy Disney’s son died recently of stomach cancer. When news came out, Bob Iger had all flags at the Disneyland Parks lowered to half mast. He was a good man, and I am sure that everyone is sad to see his go. There is a lot more information of Roy on the internet so please feel free to look.
This week’s Silly Symphony of the Week is Broken Toys. It came out on November 30, 1935 and is about a sailor toy who gets dumped in, well, a dump! He rounds up the other toys and together they make themselves ready for children again. It’s pretty cute and the ending is very sweet. Enjoy!
