Looking at the D23 website (again, jeez I hooked!) I saw this intriguing article. It seems Disney and Cat Cora are going to make a restraunt! But for what park you say? Disney’s BoardWalk Resort sadly. The restraunt will be called Kouzzina by Cat Cora and will be Mediterranean-style cuisine. Sounds nummy! For more information click on this link.*click*
On the D23 website they had this fact. Thought it was interesting….
March 18, 1967 Pirates of the Caribbean Opens at Disneyland
The world’s most famous “bateau” ride — the inspiration behind one of the most successful trilogy of films ever made (with a fourth installment on the way!) — received exactly the kind of action-packed opening it deserved when Pirates of the Caribbean opened 42 years ago today at Disneyland. A marauding group of pirates and scallywags climbed aboard the Columbia, disembarked at New Orleans Square, overtook city guards and battered their way into the locked doors of the attraction! Once inside, they saw what has charmed the world ever since — the most advanced Audio-Animatronics® figures ever to populate one of Disney’s most timeless adventures. Although Walt didn’t live to see the beloved attraction in operation, he was alive when the Blue Bayou was completed; however, he refused to open the restaurant until work on the attraction was finished.

OH MY GOSH. They are making a High School Musical 4!?! That is insane. It is crazy that they can keep fans that long. A rumor has said that the new movie will be about how “East High meets West in a classic love triangle set against the cross-town school rivalry between the East High Wildcats and West High Knights in the upcoming High School Musical 4.”
The Opera House has gone down on Main Street U.S.A. for some major refurbishment. Previously hosting the ‘Disneyland: The First 50 Magical Years’ show, it will soon be hosting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, which will open later this year. Meaning- Lincoln’s back! I have never seen the show personally myself, so I am excited! The attraction will open later this year in celebration of the 200th anniversary year of Abraham Lincoln’s birth.
Also, since The Disney Gallery was moved, when the Disneyland Dream Suite was built, The Disney Gallery will know be put on Main Street U.S.A.. The Disney Gallery houses Disney artwork and collectibles from The Walt Disney Company. It is a frequently changing exhibit, and often includes never-before-displayed art. The gallery’s new home will be in the Bank of Main Street building, located next to the Main Street Opera House which is currently used to buy the Annual Passports for the parks. The Bank will continue to operate as an Annual Passport center until mid-summer-ish. After that, Annual Passport processing will move to the Plaza Pavilion, near the entrance to Adventureland.
To celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Pinocchio, LA puppetry artist Bob Baker, has created the little guy out of solid platinum. The statue will be on display at the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, GA for the next two months. What a great way to celebrate such a memorable movie!? The movie is now on sale on DVD, and can be purchased in Platinum Edition.
The D23 site has now been put up. Although I have not had a big chance to look at it, it looks pretty cool. I saw this video along with it, so do not tell me you don’t like Disney after watching this video.
