Thanks to one of my friends, I have found “The Official Tim Burton Website” which is amazing. It has tons of sketches and drawings all made by him, somehow forming an internet gallery! Amazing website, so I highly check it out!
Found a great site if you are obsessed with the classic Alice in Wonderland as I am :)
And I think that thats it for this post! Lots of Tim Burton….
Happy New Years Everybody, again! Pretty much every disney blog right now has been doing that “Remember the Past Year” thing so I thought, why not I? So I’m gonna bullet point some of the main things that happened at the Disneyland Park in Anaheim this year:
First of all, we cant forget that lovely “Celebration A Street Party” Parade
The new Tinkerbell float was added to the Main Street Electrical Parade, replacing the Blue Fairy float
The Pixie Hollow Meet ‘n’ Greet replaced Ariel’s Grotto giving you a chance to meet Tinkerbell and her friends
The Hall of Presidents reopened, featuring the new President Barack Obama
The Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique opened in Fantasyland
Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee! along with her Meet ‘n’ Greet station helped celebrate the new movie
Work for the upcoming Cars Land, Ariel Ride, and new Paradise Pier was started
The Summer Nightastic featuring the “Magic” Parade, and you can’t forget the new Maleficent, the eels Flotsam and Jetsam, and the new alligator for Fantasmic!
Although this is not specifically Disney, you can’t forget the launch of the D23 community and the awesome D23 Expo
And last but not least, the “Halloween Screams” fireworks and the Ghost Galaxy version of Space Mountain
Overall, I think that this was a very succesful year for Disneyland. Although many other things happened in the parks, this is just a small portion and is really just the main points that I wanted to bring out. Hopefully, and surelly, Disney will do just as a good of a job as they did this year.
Walt Disney Animation Studios released this clip November 25. The following video is 35 seconds of Tiana’s solo in the upcoming movie, The Princess and the Frog. The song is called “Almost There,” and I already love it. Anika Noni Rose’s voice is so powerful, the number should be great when the film releases November 11. Enjoy the clip!
Some pictures from Tiana’s Showboat Jubillee! For those of you who don’t know what this little show is, it’s bascially the characters singing the songs from the upcoming movie. It takes place on the Rivers of America in Frontierland, and on the Mark Twain as you can see. It was cute show and it is something different Disney did, so I would try to see it the next time you are there!
Recently, the newest member of the Pixie Hollow meet and greet is Terence, a boy dust-keeper fairy. I’m really glad he is now included at Disneyland because he has such a big influence in the books and the movies. Princess Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee is now airing daily in New Orleans Square. You will be able to see a small show by Louis, Princess Tiana, and Prince Naveen. It is said that they sing some songs from the movie and get to talk to guests. In conclusion, a lot new faces will be now seen at Disneyland!
On Walt Disney Records, you can get a sample of the songs on the Princess and the Frog Soundtrack! All the songs you can listen to, including Friends on the Other Side, Down in New Orleans, When We’re Human, and Dig a Little Deeper, which is the song song by Mama Odie. I would go check it out. The CD is available on November 23, so check it out!
