This falls into the surprising category. A cast member who fell through a trap door and down 30-40 feet onto the stage before a performance of Disney’s The Little Mermaid on Broadway is now suing Disney! His injuries are significant for sure and you do have to wonder what situation would allow something like that to happen. It will be interesting to see if this just quietly goes away or if Disney feels they’re in the right and are willing to let the case go to court.
