I just recently finished Mary Poppins by P. L. Travers, and I must say it was very good! I thought it was very imaginative, and magical; it truly captured the escence of childhood. The only thing I would say, is that compared to the movie, in the book, Mary Poppins is much more harsh. I think I like Julie Andrews a little bit better, but the book was still very good!

nice! u know that 9th grade reading list that we have? the one with the book that i read on it? well the other book, called Beauty is apparently a retelling of guess what story. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST! i cant wait to read it!!
