There’s a rumor going around about Dumbo being on Broadway? I would like to see that happen, would be interesting… I can’t really see it happening, but I’m sure Disney will do something fantastic

Next week, Richard and Robert Sherman, song writers and cast members of Disney will be awarded the most prestiguous award, a window on Main Street U. S. A. Disneyland. I am so happy that these two are finally getting a window. They’ve done so much for not only Walt, but also the whole entire company. I’ve actually met one of the brothers on a Disney Cruise to Mexico. Such a nice man….
Lately I have been watching the Disney movie Meet the Robinsons. The movie is sweetly dedicated to Walt Disney to the quote at the end to subtle things during the movie, it is just great. Anyways, I was watching the movie again the other day and I noticed an old disney ride in one of the scenes. As I looked closer at the frame, Space Mountain is also there and the world “Todayland” replacing Disneyland’s Tomorrowland. I thought that it was just a nice touch that the animators did and thought I should share it with you guys! For those of you who havn’t seen the film yet, I highly recommend it. Part of it is kinda cheesy, but overall the movie is really well done, the animation is stunning, and the end is just insperational. Plus, Wilbur has made it onto the list of Disney characters of whom I am obsessed wtih :)
Thanks to one of my friends, I have found “The Official Tim Burton Website” which is amazing. It has tons of sketches and drawings all made by him, somehow forming an internet gallery! Amazing website, so I highly check it out!
Found a great site if you are obsessed with the classic Alice in Wonderland as I am :)
And I think that thats it for this post! Lots of Tim Burton….
This is a hilarious video I found of the Tweedledees singing badly and then battling with only their bowties as weapons! This is from a person named briberry who I follow on her many websites. Anyways please watch this one and her others which are wonderful for disney obsessors like me!
Some updates I think is needed! Anyways here they are!!
The day after the Super Bowl, the New Orleans Saints quarterback, Drew Brees, visited Walt Disney World.
A record-breaking sculpture made out of 115,00 cans of canned food was ”uncanned” at Walt Disney World. The sculpture was made for the volunteers and to encourage the many volunteers of the Give a Day, Get a Disney Day campaign.
Disneyland gave a quick little video and some interesting facts about the train car, the Lilly Belle. Walt originally gave this train to his wife and it is still there today. I have seem it several times when walking around the park, but the little video on the link shows the inside and it up and running!
